About the role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity for an experienced TM1 and IBM Planning Analytics consultant to help deliver the next phase of our Finance transformation program within IBM’s premium cloud-hosted environment. This is a hands-on delivery role combining solution design, development and stakeholder partnership across Finance, FP&A;, and operational teams.

You will enhance our driver-based planning environment, develop integrated Balance Sheet and Cash Flow capabilities, enable five-year strategic planning, and improve platform performance, controls, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into practical solution designs, technical specifications and delivery plans.

- Design, build and maintain TM1 cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, feeders, TurboIntegrator processes, chores, security and Planning Analytics Workspace content.

- Enhance existing revenue, expenses, labour, rent, recharge, initiatives and Profit and Loss planning models.

- Improve system performance, data quality and integration, including synchronisation of development and production environments and reduction of duplicated data.

- Develop driver-based Balance Sheet models covering working capital, provisions, leases, fixed assets, borrowings, tax and acquisition overlays.

- Build an integrated Cash Flow model with controlled mappings, automated three-statement reconciliation and exception reporting.

- Develop a strategic five-year planning capability incorporating baseline performance, growth assumptions and business initiatives.

- Partner with Finance analysts during iterative development, demonstrations and testing to validate calculations and usability early.





- Maintain technical and user documentation and provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Skills and experience:

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 in a consulting, development or solution-design role.

- Advanced capability in cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, feeders, TurboIntegrator, chores, security and Planning Analytics Workspace.

- Experience delivering budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and management-reporting solutions.

- Proven ability to optimise TM1 performance, data integration and model maintainability.

- Sound understanding of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow relationships.

- Ability to translate complex Finance requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Strong stakeholder engagement, documentation, testing and delivery skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across Finance and operational teams.
