Stores Person

All Rubber is a leading supplier of conveyor belting and rubber lining in Western Australia, providing high-quality products and services to many businesses and industries.

We are looking for a Stores Person to join our Perth branch in Welshpool.

This position will support our local and regional sites to deliver an efficient, safe and effective service to our internal stakeholders and customers.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Manage inward and outward goods, stock handling, stock take and stores organisation.

- General house-keeping duties always keeping the area clean and tidy.

- Be part of the stores team conducting monthly, biyearly and yearly stock take tasks.

- Unloading of trucks, checking of stock in & reconciling against purchase orders & delivery dockets.

- Coordinate freight bookings.

- Maintaining & monitoring stock levels & liaising with Sales/Purchasing Officer for reordering.

- Stack, organise, rotate stock & cleaning stock storage areas & assist in cleaning workplace areas.

- Assist with maintaining stock identification & reordering processes.

- Assist workshop staff with distributing stock & equipment for production / resale & restocking excess.

- General forklift operation.

- Packing,



sorting & storage of finished goods for pick up by customers / freight carriers.

- Basic maintenance and checks on building, vehicles, plant & equipment.

- Some pickups & deliveries.

To be considered for this role, you need to demonstrate:

- A professional, proactive and flexible and hands-on approach to work.

- Considerable experience in a similar role and environment

- Current C-class Drivers Licence. MR licence is desirable.

- Current high risk forklift licence (HRWL) with a minimum of 2 years recent experience.

- Dogging and riggers ticket will be advantageous (company willing to assist with training if required)

- Sound numeracy & literacy skills

- Moderate computer skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders.

- High level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality.

- Solid organisation and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

- Be physically fit to do manual labour (moving of loads up to 25 kg) & must be able to pass pre-employment medical questionnaire, drug & alcohol test and a police clearance check.
