Ethnic Community Broadcasting Association Of Victoria Limited – Brunswick VIC

Support practical training and media production activities within 3ZZZ's grant-funded Multilingual Media Development Project. Working with the Training & Development Coordinator and 3ZZZ staff, the Production Assistant helps volunteer broadcasters build practical skills and confidence in radio production and in adapting and sharing content online and through social media. The role provides hands‑on production and training support in response to priorities identified through the project's baseline assessment and training program.

Full time | Fixed-term to 30 June 2027

Salary: Clerks Award Level 3 + super

Key responsibilities

- Prepare practical training activities and resources with the Training and Development Coordinator and 3ZZZ staff
- Contribute practical media-production knowledge to training activities
- Support training sessions and other capability-development activities
- Provide hands‑on production support across radio, digital and other media activities
- Demonstrate basic production techniques, tools and workflows
- Help broadcasters troubleshoot production issues and build confidence using relevant tools
- Help broadcasters adapt and share content for online and social media
- Build positive and respectful relationships with volunteer broadcasters from 3ZZZ's diverse communities
- Maintain accurate participation, activity and production records
- Gather feedback and evidence for project monitoring, grant reporting and evaluation

About you

- Demonstrated practical experience in radio, audio, digital content or related media production




- Demonstrated ability to explain practical media skills clearly and support others to learn and apply them
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use contemporary media‑production tools, platforms and workflows
- Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with volunteers and people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Demonstrated ability to work under direction, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills, including maintaining accurate records and gathering project evidence
- Demonstrated ability to work within relevant policies, procedures and industry requirements
- Experience in community broadcasting or a related media environment (desirable)
- Experience working in a community-based or not-for-profit organisation (desirable)
- Must have the right to work in Australia and be able to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check
