Podiatry Practice Support and Administration

The Podiatry Practice Support & Administration position is responsible for providing efficient, professional and patient-focused administrative and operational support within the private podiatry practice. The position plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice, supporting patients, podiatrists and practice management across reception, appointment management, patient administration, billing, correspondence, stock management and general practice operations.

Key responsibilities

Provide a warm, professional and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors

Act as an initial point of contact for patients attending or contacting the practice

Manage telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a timely and professional manner

Schedule, confirm, reschedule and cancel appointments

Manage clinician diaries and assist in maintaining efficient appointment utilisation

Ensure patients are appropriately checked in and checked out

Provide patients with accurate information regarding appointments, practice procedures, fees and general services

Maintain accurate and current patient demographic and administrative information





Process patient payments and issue receipts

Monitor stock levels of clinical, office and reception supplies

Support clinicians during consultation hours to provide high level patient care and clinic efficiency
