Bryan Industries is a locally owned and operated engineering and fabrication company servicing the mining, construction and heavy industry sectors throughout Mackay and the Bowen Basin.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Rigger/Trade Assistant to join our team at our Mirani Workshop in a permanent dayshift position.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role supporting our tradespeople and day-to-day workshop operations. You will assist with lifting and rigging activities, equipment and material movements, general workshop duties and keeping jobs running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting tradespeople with daily workshop activities
- Carrying out dogging and rigging duties within licence and competency requirements
- Assisting with lifting, moving and positioning equipment and materials
- General workshop and yard duties
- Cleaning and maintaining workshop equipment and work areas




- Supporting safe and efficient workshop operations

What You'll Need

- Current Dogging/Rigging High Risk Work Licence – essential
- Australian Driver Licence
- MR Truck Licence – preferred .
- Forklift Licence – preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment
- Previous experience within a fabrication, mining, mechanical or heavy industrial environment
