Mt Lewis Pizzeria is seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our hospitality team. This is a full-time position based in Enfield, NSW 2136 . As a Barista, you will be at the heart of our customer experience, crafting exceptional specialty coffee beverages and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will play a vital role in delivering the quality and service standards that define Mt Lewis Pizzeria, whilst contributing to our reputation as a premier destination for food and beverage in the local community.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks including espresso-based beverages, cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites to exacting standards

Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee equipment, ensuring consistent quality and proper cleaning protocols

Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations based on their preferences

Manage the coffee station efficiently, organising stock, beans, and supplies to maintain workflow during peak service periods

Maintain a clean and hygienic work workplace, adhering to food safety and health regulations

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring satisfaction

Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to support seamless service delivery

Monitor stock levels and communicate requirements to management for timely restocking

Support promotional activities and contribute to a positive team culture

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Barista in a hospitality setting, preferably in a café or restaurant environment

Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and specialty drink preparation

Competency with espresso machines and other coffee equipment





Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive interactions

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent beverage quality

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Current Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is advantageous
