The Team & Role

The provide reception and administration services that ensure a welcoming, professional, friendly, client-focussed and efficient service to staff, visiting health professionals and students.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a high standard of customer service and effective and efficient general administration support mainly to the Learning and Development Team.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in a reception and / or administrative role

Proven well developed organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities

File management both manual and online filing





Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and maintain privacy

Demonstrated experience working with a range of IT software, telephone systems and programs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with the Secretary Department of Health Directions

Experience with invoicing and service billing

Experience in working in a health service
