The Essential Services Commission is Victoria’s independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by a range of industries. The commission’s functions include:

- making regulatory decisions with respect to prescribed industries (including price determinations, licensing, customerprotectionand access disputes).
- undertaking reviews and providing advice to Ministers on a range of economic and regulatory matters.
- administering the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.

About the role

The Change Lead plays a key role in supporting delivery of theVictorian Energy Upgrades (VEU)Transformation Program by leading change planning and implementation across a range of initiatives.

This is a12-monthfixed term position.The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne, with hybrid work arrangements available.

Key accountabilities

The roleis responsible for:

- leading and delivering change activities to support transformation initiatives across the VEU division
- working with program leads, subject matter experts and business stakeholders to assess change impacts and develop fit-for-purpose change plans
- developing and delivering stakeholder engagement, communication and training activities to support successful implementation and adoption
- supporting business readiness and implementation activities, including transition planning, impact assessments, and post-implementation follow-up
- identifying and managing change risks, issues and dependencies, and aligning change activities within broader program delivery
- preparing practical change materials, monitoring progress and feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement in change approaches and tools
