To support our strategic growth, we are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our Victorian operations across our Monbulk and Tullamarine facilities.

The Role

Based at our Monbulk facility , this pivotal leadership role oversees all operations, supply chain logistics, and production across both Victorian sites. Reporting directly to the General Manager , you will translate high-level business strategy into daily operational success.

You will work hand-in-hand with dedicated Team Leaders, collaborating closely with Sales and Procurement to seamlessly align inventory, production, and logistics with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership: Oversee key workflows across both sites, including airport clearance, despatch, value-add bouquet production, processing, receivals, and pick-and-pack workflows.
- Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and empower your Team Leaders. Manage staffing rosters (via EH Payroll) to ensure efficient workflows, conduct performance reviews, and foster a high-performance, values-driven culture.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the GM, HR, Sales, and Procurement teams to optimize stock levels, recruitment,



and production schedules in line with market trends.
- WHS & Compliance: Champion a strict Workplace Health & Safety culture, ensuring full regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a safe working environment across both locations.
- Continuous Improvement: Promptly identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, drive process efficiencies, and eliminate disruptions to daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing multi-site operations, ideally within fresh produce, FMCG, logistics, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
- People First: A skilled people manager who excels at mentoring staff, managing rosters, and resolving operational issues collaboratively.
- Safety Champion: A solid commitment to upholding and improving stringent WHS standards.
- Strategic Thinker, Practical Doer: Ability to balance daily hands-on operational troubleshooting with long-term strategic growth goals.
- Flexibility: Ability to effectively spend time across different areas in the business and manage the balance between being hands‑on and working on planning, compliance and strategic tasks.
