Job Description

Placed.au is looking for a full-time SAP Business Analyst for our client in Melbourne, Victoria. This role is responsible for analysing HR business processes and requirements, developing HR technology solutions, supporting HRIS systems, and driving process improvement and digital transformation.

- Analyze current HRIS business processes and requirements to improve and develop HRIT strategies and the to-be processes, suggest and implement technology solutions and strategies to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department of our customers.
- Provide HRIS and HR technology solutions integration support, troubleshooting for existing integrations of the customers HR systems, understand and provide integrations solutioning for various HR modules: leaves, attendance, Core Inbound, Recruitment and Onboarding.
- Lead the continuous evaluation and evolution of HR IT Systems including testing and configuration, security administration, report writing, system optimization post-go-live, coordination and management of cross-functional dependencies between HR, Benefits, IT, IT vendors, Budget, and Payroll.
- As a HRIS IT specialist, drive automation, integration, and configuration of core HR processes, manage requests for process improvements, system enhancements and the development and/or purchase of new software applications.
- Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.




- Maintains HRMS system tables. Documents process and results.
- Provide HR IT production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
- Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality of the newly adopted systems. Trains new system users.
- Keep abreast of latest trends in HR technology landscape with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. Examines trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.

Qualifications / Attributes

- Must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering,



Technology or a related field, or at least three (3) years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Must possess at least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
- Deep knowledge of Global HR (People) Function technology across a broad spectrum of HR processes including workforce administration, compensation and perks, payroll, time and attendance, talent management, performance management, learning & development, analytics and reporting and self-service.
- Expertise in leveraging agile methodologies and different estimation techniques, project management tools and methods.
- Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
- Should have exposure on modelling tools like Visio or any equivalent tool for documenting the process flows.
- Strong client relationship and engagement management skills.
- Prior consulting experience with global exposure is favourable.
- Experience in HR domain space and exposure to ERP systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow is a value add.
- Previous experience in HRIS like SAP, Oracle, Workday, project management, SHRM, and HR Consulting.
- Experience working with MNCs and larger global ecosystems is a value add.
- Should have been a part of enterprise-level transformation projects.
- Experience in project management, data analytics and statistics.
- Experience working in a global environment and varied industries.

Salary Range $75,000 - $85,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
