Harrison McMillan is seeking a Content and Capability Lead (EL1) to work with a Federal Government Department in Sydney.
Role
The role will establish and support resource governance processes, including review and refresh cycles, quality assurance, accessibility standards and content lifecycle management. The position will also use stakeholder feedback, evaluation findings, user insights and emerging trends to inform the ongoing enhancement of TFA resources, tools and knowledge products.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Curate, maintain and expand a library of on-demand learning resources, reference materials and digital content that support TEA capability development across the DFSV sector
- Develop, enhance and maintain a suite of practical resources, templates, guidance materials and tools that form the basis of the TFA capability toolkit, including frontline worker guides, online safety checklists, quick reference guides, fact sheets, implementation guides, videos and decision-support tools
- Support the planning, development and ongoing improvement of TEA resources and learning materials
- Ensure all resources are user-centred, accessible, trauma-informed and aligned with best practice
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, internal and external stakeholders and vendors to translate complex information into practical, easy-to-use resources for frontline workers and organisations
- Take a co-design approach to support the redesign,
enhancement and ongoing management of the TFA Hub and associated resource pages to improve user experience, accessibility, resource discoverability and utilisation
- Establish and support the resource governance process, including quality assurance, review and refresh cycles and lifecycle management, to ensure content remains accurate, relevant and up to date
- Monitor resource usage, stakeholder engagement and user feedback to identify content priorities, inform continuous improvement activities, and provide reporting and recommendations to management and executives
- Use evaluation findings, data, stakeholder insights and emerging sector trends to identify opportunities to strengthen and enhance TFA resources, tools and services
- Manage competing priorities and complex content development projects, ensuring high- quality outcomes are delivered within agreed timeframes
- Experience working in the domestic, family and sexual violence, online safety, community services, education, training or capability development sectors. Demonstrated experience developing and managing knowledge resources, learning materials, toolkits or capability-building initiatives in a complex environment
- Experience translating business, stakeholder and user needs into resource requirements and overseeing the development of guides, fact sheets, templates, videos content, digital resources, toolkits and decision-support materials
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles,
with the ability to develop accessible, trauma-informed and fit-for-purpose content and resources
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools and workflows
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage content governance processes, including quality assurance, review cycles and content lifecycle management
- Experience managing and coordinating external vendors and creative service providers to deliver user-centred resources and capability products, including videos, digital resources, graphic design and multimedia assets
- Experience using stakeholder feedback, subject matter expertise, evaluation findings and data insights to inform continuous improvement of resources, products and services for priority and at-risk cohorts. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines and complex content development activities in a energetic environment
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement and enhanced user experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and deliver high- quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
- Experience publishing content using a Content Management System
- Understanding Of the challenges faced by frontline workers and victim-survivors experiencing technology-facilitated abuse
- Experience developing trauma-informed, inclusive and accessible resources for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of digital engagement tools, website content management or online resource platforms
- Experience supporting the promotion, adoption and effective use of resources through stakeholder engagement and communication activities
