Arole with unique responsibilities

Weare seeking a highly organised and proactive Genetics Services Coordinator toprovide administrative and operational support to our Clinical Genetics team.This is a varied and rewarding role where you will act as the centralcoordination point between our Clinical Geneticist, Genetic Counsellors,patients, and donor teams.

You will play a critical role in ensuring geneticsconsultations run smoothly, appointments are efficiently managed, documentationis prepared,



and patients receive exceptional service throughout their journey.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-pacedhealthcare environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride inproviding outstanding administrative support.

Under the guidance of the Clinical Geneticist, your key responsibilitiesinclude:

- Coordinationand scheduling of genetics appointments, including initial consultations andreview appointments.
- Servingas a key point of contact for patients, clinicians, donor teams, and externalstakeholders.
- Managementof both in-person and telehealth (Zoom) consultations.
- Arrangingtandem appointments involving the Clinical Geneticist and Genetic Counsellors.
- Ensuringthe Clinical Geneticist has all relevant patient information and supportingdocumentation prior to appointments.
- Managingcorrespondence, reports, referrals, and clinical letters.
- Financialadministration, including invoicing, receipting, Medicare billing enquiries andexpense management.

Are you the ideal candidate for us?

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised Administrator orCoordinator who can think critically, work independently, and manage competingpriorities with ease.

You will demonstrate:

- Previousexperience in administration, medical administration, healthcare coordination,or a similar role.




- Exceptionalorganisational and time management skills.
- Theability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
- Strongattention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Provenability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Stronginterpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Aproactive, self-motivated, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Confidenceusing Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- Experiencewith medical billing, Medicare, or healthcare administration will be highlyregarded.
