contribute to real-world defence programs, learn how some of Australia's most advanced systems are designed to operate safely and reliably, while also receiving some industry best practice training within a 2-3 year development program.

What Is System Safety

As a System Safety Engineer you will make sure complex systems are not only functional, but safe, minimizing the risk to personnel, capability and setting before the problems ever reach the real world. You’ll work closely with engineers, operators, maintainers and other stakeholders to understand how systems are designed, used and supported, identifying potential hazards and influencing safer outcomes through a system lifecycle.
