West In Motion Physio is seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing community-based practice. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy across NDIS, Support at Home (community aged care), and private practice settings.
You will provide predominantly in-home and community-based physiotherapy, supporting older adults and people with disability to improve mobility, independence, functional capacity and quality of life.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised, goal-focused treatment plans.
- Provide physiotherapy for musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic, disability-related, chronic pain, falls and balance conditions.
- Deliver NDIS capacity-building interventions and Support at Home reablement/restorative care.
- Complete functional assessments, NDIS progress reports and clinical recommendations.
- Assess and prescribe assistive technology, mobility aids, including equipment trials and supporting documentation.
- Provide falls prevention, exercise programs, rehabilitation and manual handling education.
- Collaborate with GPs, specialists, care coordinators, case managers, return to work corodinators and other allied health professionals.
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and work within relevant professional and regulatory standards.
What we're looking for
- Current general registration with AHPRA (new grads and current limited registration holders with AHPRA are welcome to apply).
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Demonstrated clinical experience in physiotherapy assessment and treatment
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological and/or cardiorespiratory rehabilitation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with patients
- Flexibility and adaptability to work on a casual basis with varying schedule requirements
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
- Holds current Police Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening clearance (essential)
- Holds a current open driver's licence, has access to a reliable vehicle and is willing to travel across Melbourne Metropolitan areas (essential)
- Has current skilled indemnity and public liability insurance (essential)
- Experience in private practice physiotherapy settings (preferred)
