An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Speech Pathologist to join the Allied Health team at Portland District Health. You are responsible for delivering safe and effective clinical care that requires a higher level of clinical decision making that is relevant to speech pathology practice. You practice and provide evidence-based speech pathology services cross the acute, subacute, outpatient, aged care and community-based settings withing Portland District Health. You support the development of clinical and leadership skills I staff placed under your responsibility such as allied health assistants and students.

About You

- Bachelor of Speed Pathology with membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- At least 7 years’ experience
- Post Graduate clinical qualification relevant to advertised position - desirable
- Experience in Hospital and Community based setting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe consumer focused care, providing a high level of specialist knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with highly developed skills in organisation, time management, planning and priority setting
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous service improvement or research activities
