Breakfast & Lunch Chef – Fresh Food Café

We’re looking for an experienced breakfast/lunch chef or cook to join a busy, up-to-date café in Ballina.

We’re hoping to find someone who is genuinely into food — someone who enjoys working with fresh produce, clean flavours, seasonal ingredients, great presentation and contemporary café food.

You’ll be working across breakfast and lunch service, prep, cabinet food and baking, with the opportunity to bring some of your own ideas to the kitchen.

We’re looking for someone who:
Loves food and takes pride in what goes on the plate
Is confident in a rapid-paced breakfast and lunch service
Has a good feel for fresh, healthy and modern café food
Is clean, organised and reliable
Has baking skills or an interest in baking
Works well with a good crew
Is looking for a stable, long-term role

Daytime hours. No late nights.
Monday & Tuesday off.
Weekend availability is essential.

A great role for a chef who still loves hospitality and food, but wants a better lifestyle.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
