Purpose of the Role

We’re seeking a candidate with proven experience in payroll operations, ideally within a higher education environment.

Experience using SAP is essential. You will be working within a diverse team of payroll professionals mix of payroll officers and senior payroll officers. Your main responsibilities will include processing payroll, responding to service tickets and queries, performing data entry, and validating payroll results. While you won’t be responsible for running the full payroll cycle independently, you will play a key role in reviewing results, executing payroll tasks,



and supporting end-to-end processes alongside senior team members

Responsibilities

- Processing payroll accurately and efficiently
- Responding to payroll-related tickets and employee queries
- Data entry and validation of employee records
- Reviewing and checking payroll results as part of the pay run
- Supporting execution of pay runs and end-to-end payroll tasksCollaborating with senior payroll team members to ensure compliance and accuracy

About you

- Previous experience in payroll operations
- SAP payroll experience is essential
- Experience in the higher education sector is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one) is required
