Business Development Manager - Electrical Supplies

We are looking for an experienced electrical sales professional ready to take greater ownership of business development across both established distributor networks and direct end-user markets.

This role will focus on creating new opportunities, increasing product penetration and building commercially valuable relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, industrial customers, commercial businesses and project stakeholders. Some interstate travel will be required, although most activity will be managed through a combination of customer visits, modern communication tools and data-led sales planning.

You will represent a broad portfolio of electrical products, including cable and cable management, power distribution, industrial control products, switches, plugs and sockets, lighting, data and communications, wiring accessories, test equipment and related electrical supplies.

About You

You will currently be working for an electrical manufacturer, supplier or distributor,



ideally within a business that sells through electrical wholesalers while also supporting contractors and end users directly.

You must understand how to develop business across a distribution channel without relying solely on existing relationships. The right person will use sales data, market activity and customer insights to identify gaps, target opportunities and increase revenue across both distributor branches and end-user accounts.

You will report directly to the NSW Sales Manager of the division and receive the support and development required to grow within the position.

The business operates across multiple product divisions, creating genuine long-term career pathways for someone who can deliver results and establish themselves as a solid commercial contributor.
