Landscape Draftsperson – AutoCAD | Myard Landscape Design
Location: Glendenning, NSW

Myard is seeking an experienced Landscape Draftsperson to join our highly experienced team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working within clear regulatory frameworks — taking council and CDC requirements and turning them into accurate, compliant and build‑ready landscape plans for residential approvals. You’ll work across multiple jurisdictions, applying each rule set confidently while producing documentation that is consistent, accurate and aligned with Myard’s design standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the DA/CDC Co-Ordinator, you will prepare plans, details, sections, planting schedules and technical documentation that support council submissions.

This role suits a draftsperson who enjoys precision, clarity and problem‑solving within defined rulesets — someone who can take varying council and CDC requirements and translate them into compliant landscape plans for residential approvals. You’ll work across multiple jurisdictions, applying each set of regulations accurately while producing clean, skilled documentation that aligns with the client's requirements.

Key Responsibilities




AutoCAD drafting — prepare detailed landscape plans, construction details and documentation packages
Council & compliance — prepare DA/CDC documentation aligned with relevant Australian Standards
Quality control — review and check drawings for accuracy and consistency
Collaboration — work closely with the team to deliver practical solutions
Continuous improvement — contribute to drafting standards, templates and workflows

About You
2–5 years’ experience in landscape drafting desired though not essential.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
Experience preparing details and documentation
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
