We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Waitstaff to join our busy Italian restaurant. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced setting and can confidently manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a Senior Wait Staff member, you will play an important role in the smooth running of our front-of-house operations. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving drinks, running food and assisting the wider team during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and provide friendly, professional service to customers
Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system
Prepare and serve drinks, including coffees, soft drinks and other beverages
Run food and drinks to tables efficiently
Ensure food and drinks are presented correctly
Check on customers throughout their dining experience
Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
Assist other waitstaff and support the team during busy periods
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Handle customer requests and resolve issues professionally




Help ensure smooth service from opening through to closing
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment
Senior waitstaff or section-leading experience preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
Confident using a POS system
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
A positive attitude and robust team mentality
Ability to multitask and stay organised during busy services
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required

Pay: $29.00 – $32.00 per hour
