Longboards Laidback Eatery & Bar, situated under the iconic Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to join our dynamic team. If you are a qualified chef with a excellent attitude, a team player, and possess a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and productive service delivery.
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu and standards.
Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring proper stock rotation.
Assisting in the ordering and receiving of supplies.
Ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Formal culinary training and relevant qualifications as a chef.
A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.




Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary of $77,000.00 per year plus superannuation.
