Bakery Café Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bakery Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy bakery café. This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and confident leading a team while maintaining high standards of customer service, coffee quality, presentation, and cleanliness.

Visa Requirement : Applicants must have full working rights in Australia or hold a valid visa that permits them to work in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bakery café, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Lead, supervise, and support the café team during busy periods.
Prepare and complete daily operational and sales reports, identifying issues and communicating relevant information to management.
Manage coffee, packaging, takeaway, and café supply ordering, maintaining appropriate stock levels while minimising waste.
Monitor stock levels, deliveries, product availability, and inventory requirements.
Create and manage weekly staff rosters, ensuring appropriate staffing levels based on business needs.
Assist with recruitment and hiring, including reviewing applicants, conducting interviews, organising trial shifts, and providing feedback.




Train and onboard recent team members, ensuring they understand company procedures, service standards, coffee preparation, POS systems, cash handling, and workplace expectations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, presentation, and workplace organisation.
Monitor coffee quality and service standards, supporting staff to deliver consistent products and customer experiences.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve operational issues professionally.
Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing, stock, sales, maintenance, and operational matters.
Ensure established company systems and procedures are followed consistently by the team.

About You:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in café, bakery, hospitality, or similar management. You will be highly organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work smart, maintain an productive system, and lead by example.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
