Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club is looking for an experienced wait staff member to join our Food & Beverage team.

The role involves working across our restaurant, members’ bar and functions, providing friendly and skilled service to club members and their guests.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:
Providing professional food and beverage service
Taking orders and confidently managing your own section
Providing attentive and friendly service to members and guests
Working across restaurant service, functions and events
Setting up and packing down restaurant and function areas
Making and serving basic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Clearing and resetting tables
Communicating effectively with the kitchen and other team members
Following club service standards and procedures
Assisting with opening and closing duties

What We Are Looking For




Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant/table service
Confident managing a section independently
Robust customer service and communication skills
Professional, friendly and well presented
Reliable and able to work well within a team
Comfortable working in a busy hospitality setting
Good food and beverage knowledge
Current RSA
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Previous experience in a club, hotel, restaurant or functions environment is highly regarded

This position would suit someone who enjoys building relationships with regular customers and providing consistent, personalised service.
