Salary: $80,000 – $82,000 per annum + superannuation

ZEN ZEN SUSHI PTY LTD is a Japanese restaurant specialising in sushi and a variety of Japanese dishes. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a full time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, rice dishes, noodles and hot food.

· Prepare seafood, meat, vegetables and other ingredients for daily service.

· Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain consistent food quality.

· Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation.

· Maintain appropriate food storage and stock rotation.

· Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.





· Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and work area.

· Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Requirements:

· At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Cook or in a similar commercial kitchen role.

· Experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation is highly regarded.

· Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.

· Positive teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
