About the role

This is a varied role including labouring and plant support across civil, earthworks and site preparation works in Perth.

You will assist machine operators with excavation, backfilling, compaction, trenching and site clean-ups, support equipment deliveries and collections, and contribute to site establishment and yard-based maintenance.

For the right person, there will be opportunities to gain experience across plant operation, equipment delivery, machinery maintenance and customer/site support, with genuine pathways into machine operating and higher-responsibility roles as the business expands.

Key responsibilities
Assist with general civil, earthworks and site preparation works across Perth
Support machine operators with excavation, backfilling, compaction, trenching and site clean-ups
Assist with the loading and unloading of plant and equipment
Complete plant and equipment deliveries and collections as required
Operate smaller plant and equipment where trained and competent
Assist with temporary fencing, site establishment and general site support
Carry out daily equipment inspections,



cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
Assist with branch/yard-based maintenance, equipment preparation and organisation between jobs
Maintain a clean, secure and professional work environment
Deal professionally with customers, builders and contractors during deliveries and in office works

Ability to work both independently and alongside operators and other team members
Take pride in looking after machinery, vehicles and equipment
Good communication and a skilled attitude around customers
Safety-focused and able to follow site procedures and instructions
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility as the business grows
Flexibility to move between site work, deliveries, yard duties and equipment support depending on what is required that day
Current driver's licence essential
White Card essential
