Program Leader, Communications & Marketing

The positionassiststhe Manager, Communications & Marketing tolead the delivery of the Communications & Marketing service for the community and Council. The roleisrequiredtoplan,coordinateand deliver a high standard ofengaging,relevantand effective internal and external communications,marketing, branding and graphic design,and corporate and civic eventsacross the organisation and in the community.

- Tertiary qualifications and/or significant demonstrated experiencein communications, marketing, public relations,journalismor a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing communications and marketing functions, including strategic planning, servicedeliveryand continuous improvement within a complex organisation.




- Proven leadership and people management skills, including the ability to supervise, develop and motivate a skilled team to achieve organisationalobjectives.
- Experience developing and delivering integrated communications and marketing strategies,campaignsand initiativesacross a range of channels to support organisational outcomes.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $118,950 gross per annum

+ 12% superannuation

+ annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)

+ annual award increase
