Site Supervisor – Scone, NSW
Morton Building & Construction has an opportunity available for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on a 6-month contract basis , with an immediate start available for a current project based in Scone, NSW.
There is potential for the contract to be extended and for further opportunities with the company beyond the initial 6-month period.
We are looking for a proactive and driven Site Supervisor who takes ownership of their projects from commencement through to completion. You will be responsible for understanding project requirements, planning ahead, coordinating crews, plant, subcontractors and materials, and actively driving works to meet program, quality and safety requirements.
The work is generally Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday when required, and is not roster based.
About the Role
- Leading and coordinating daily site operations while maintaining a hands-on approach.
- Taking ownership of projects from commencement through to completion.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day site operations and critical matters.
- Coordinating subcontractors, crews, plant, materials and deliveries.
- Planning ahead to ensure works remain on schedule and resources are available when required.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
- Assisting with project schedules, programs and site documentation.
- Working closely with management, subcontractors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience supervising commercial construction projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Class C driver's licence.
- Current WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Highly Regarded:
- Ability to set out works using GPS/UTS equipment.
- Ability and willingness to work away from home when required.
