About the Role

Civil Safety is seeking an experienced High Risk Trainer / Assessor to support training delivery in Weipa, Far North Queensland. You will deliver high-quality, practical training and assessment across high risk and civil construction competencies, working with participants from a range of industry backgrounds.
Licence to Operate a Forklift
Dogging
Basic Rigging
EWP ( 11 Mtres + )
CN - Licence to Operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (Greater Than 3 Tonnes Capacity)

Key Responsibilities
Deliver nationally recognised high risk and civil construction training and assessment.
Conduct practical and theory-based training in classroom, workplace and site environments.




Assess participant competency in accordance with training package, licensing and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate training, assessment and compliance records.
Provide practical guidance and support to participants throughout their training.
Ensure training is delivered safely and reflects current industry practices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of training resources and assessment practices.
Maintain compliance with Civil Safety policies and the Standards for RTOs.

What You’ll Need
Relevant High Risk Work Assessor Licence/accreditation.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), or willingness to obtain for the right candidate.
Relevant High Risk Work Licences and strong practical industry experience.
Experience in mining, civil construction, construction or a related high risk workplace.
Robust communication skills and the ability to deliver practical, engaging training.
A solid commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
Current Australian driver's licence.
Ability and willingness to FIFO to Weipa as required.
