Our client is a well-established SMP Construction company currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their team on a short-term project in Western Australia.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced Project Engineer with a robust bulk earthworks background to get involved in a major project, with the potential for ongoing work beyond the initial 3–4 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating engineering activities across the project
Providing technical engineering support to the construction team
Planning, coordinating and monitoring construction works
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications
Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes and construction documentation
Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
Monitoring project progress, quality and compliance
Assisting with project reporting, documentation and variations
Liaising with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders
Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery

About You:
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within an SMP,



civil construction or mining environment
Relevant Engineering qualification
Strong hands-on experience delivering bulk earthworks projects
Previous exposure to piping works, with tailings dam experience highly regarded
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, QA/QC processes and project documentation
Available to commence ASAP
