Claims Executive

Hawthorn, Melbourne | Full-Time | Onsite 5 Days | $90,000–$120,000 + Super

The Opportunity

Linx Insurance is looking for an experienced Claims Executive to join its team in Hawthorn.

This is a hands‑on claims role focused on managing and processing motor, commercial motor, equipment and plant‑related claims , along with a range of other insurance claims.

You’ll manage claims from lodgement through to resolution , working closely with clients, insurers, assessors, repairers and other stakeholders to ensure claims are progressed efficiently and clients are kept informed throughout the process.

This is a role for someone who enjoys claims, understands the importance of attention to detail and follow‑through, and takes ownership of getting things done.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Managing and processing motor and commercial motor claims from lodgement through to resolution.

- Managing claims relating to equipment, plant, vehicles and other commercial assets .

- Liaising with clients throughout the claims process and providing clear and timely updates.

- Liaising with insurers, assessors, repairers and other relevant stakeholders.

- Reviewing claim documentation and policy information.

- Following up outstanding information and ensuring claims continue to progress.

- Monitoring claim status, documentation and important dates.

- Assisting clients to understand the claims process and requirements.

- Negotiating with insurers where required and advocating for clients.

- Managing escalated and more complex claims as required.

- Maintaining accurate claims records and administration.

- Supporting the broader team with claims‑related matters as required.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced claims professional who is confident managing claims and dealing directly with clients and insurers.

You’ll ideally bring:

- 3–4 years' experience in insurance claims.

- Strong experience across motor or commercial motor claims .





- Exposure to equipment, plant, fleet or similar commercial assets will be highly regarded.

- A solid understanding of the claims lifecycle.

- Experience dealing with insurers, assessors, repairers and clients.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- The ability to manage multiple claims and competing priorities.

- Confidence following up insurers and other stakeholders to keep claims moving.

- A proactive, practical approach and willingness to take ownership.

- The ability to work independently while contributing to a close‑knit team.
