About the role

n

We are seeking a Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) Technician to join our Brisbane Region team on a full time or part time basis.

n

The team in Brisbane work on a rotating roster at various practices and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team.

n

About you

n

n
- Essential:n n
- A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Health Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, or equivalent), or
n
- Current Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration.
n

n
- Highly Desirable:n

n
- Current DXA (Bone Mineral Densitometry) licence and experience performing BMD examinations.
n

n




- Current Qld Radiation Use Licence or ability to apply
n
- Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
n
- Ability to support and educate patients and staff within the Unit to ensure quality evidence-based care
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to deliver a high level of patient care and customer service
n
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

- Demonstrated composure under pressure prioritising a commitment to service excellence
