The Margaret River Chocolate Company is a proudly WA-owned company with a following built over decades. Our Perth CBD showroom is where city customers come for gifts, hampers and a bit of an everyday treat — and we're looking for a Retail Team Member to help us look after them.

About the role

n

This is a hands-on retail role in a small, busy showroom. You'll be the face of the brand at the counter, and during quieter periods you'll be behind the scenes packing hampers and product packs and getting click & collect orders out the door.

The position is advertised as casual, but for the right person we're open to offering it as a permanent part-time or full-time role. If that's what you're after, tell us in your application.

What you'll be doing

n

Delivering warm, genuine customer service and driving showroom sales

n

Operating the POS, handling cash, and completing accurate daily till close

n

Preparing weekly banking and associated paperwork

n

Keeping the showroom beautifully presented, clean and well stocked

n





Picking and packing online click & collect orders accurately

n

Assembling hampers and packing single product packs to our standards

n

Following our food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements

n

Supporting teammates

n

What you'll bring

Confidence with POS systems and cash handling

Genuine attention to detail and pride in how things look

Reliability and punctuality - we're a small team and it matters

Availability to work Saturdays

The ability to work on your own and as part of a team

What we offer

n

Casual rate of $36.11/hr (Mon-Fri, includes 25% casual loading), with Saturday, Sunday and public holiday penalty rates on top

n

The option of permanent part-time or full time employment for the right applicant, with leave entitlements and guaranteed hours
