Mechanical Plumbers (Qualified & Apprentices)

HPACS is a small, solid crew with 15+ years of steady work across Melbourne delivering HVAC solutions. We're recruiting a Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic / Mechanical Plumber and a Year 2 or Year 3 Apprentice who want real skills, real responsibility, and real support.

Key responsibilities

- Installing HVAC systems in childcares, schools, offices and light commercial sites
n
- VRF/VRV installs, commissioning, and service
n
- Ducted reverse-cycle systems
n
- Split & multi-split installs
n
- Residential service work
n
- Apprentice (Year 2 or 3):
n
- Commercial HVAC installs
n
- Ducted reverse-cycle systems
n
- Split & multi-split installs & service
n
- VRF/VRV exposure
n
- Hands-on training
n
- TAFE/RTO block release support
n

About you

n

- Solid technical chops
n
- A "do it right the first time" attitude
n




- Driver's license + White Card
n
- Apprentice (Year 2 or 3):
n
- Year 2 or 3 Refrigeration & AC Apprenticeship
n
- Curiosity + willingness to learn
n
- Reliability + safety focus
n
- Driver's license (or working toward it)
n
- White Card (or willing to get one)
n
- Fully maintained company vehicle
n
- 38-hour week + monthly RDO
n
- Uniforms and training
n
- Apprentice (Year 2 or 3 or 4th):
n
- 20% above award.
n
- Vehicle support where needed
n
- 38-hour week + monthly RDO
n
