About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, this is a diverse role, combining procurement, contract administration and permit coordination to support the successful delivery of restoration and construction projects across Australia. Working closely with our construction, estimating, claims and restoration teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and within budget.

The Role

As Procurement Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Source and allocate subcontractors across residential and commercial projects throughout Australia
- Negotiate pricing and manage trade costs in line with company targets and profitability objectives
- Allocate work orders and ensure procurement aligns with project scopes and construction requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our national trade network while identifying and onboarding new contractors
- Monitor subcontractor performance and collaborate with supervisors to continually improve trade quality
- Coordinate building permits, council permits and regulatory approvals from application through to project completion
- Manage subcontractor agreements, compliance documentation and contract administration
- Support project documentation including RFIs, engineering documentation, permit close-out and inspections
- Review contractor invoices, monitor project costs and identify opportunities to reduce cost leakage
- Work collaboratively across Claims, Construction, Restoration and Finance to ensure projects progress efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring:





- Previous experience in procurement, contract administration, project coordination or construction administration
- Experience within the building, construction or insurance repair industry (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, subcontractor management and trade procurement
- Knowledge of building permits, compliance requirements and Australian construction standards
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong commercial awareness with an ability to balance quality, service and cost outcomes
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (experience with Prime Ecosystem would be highly regarded)
