Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Junior or Intermediate Accountant to join our team and assist our Senior Accountants.

About the role
n
The position will involve:
n
n
- Preparing individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns
n
- Preparing financial statements
n
- Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS
n
- General bookkeeping and account reconciliations
n
- Assisting our Senior Accountants with client work
n
- Communicating with clients and following up required information
n
- Maintaining accurate records and following the firm's systems and procedures
n
n
About you
n
The right person will:
n
n
- Have at least two years' experience in an Australian accounting or public practice environment
n
- Be experienced in preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements
n
- Be capable of completing work with a positive degree of autonomy
n
- Have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
n
- Be friendly, approachable and genuinely client focused
n
- Communicate clearly and raise questions or concerns when needed
n
- Understand the importance of following systems, procedures and timeframes
n
n
Experience with XPM, Xero Tax & Karbon would be highly regarded.
