NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of longwall mining equipment and services to Australia's underground coal industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Hydraulics Fitter with Cylinder Rebuild experience to join our team based in Paget, Mackay QLD.

This is a local, workshop-based role offering a 4-day compressed working week, providing genuine work-life balance while working on specialised underground mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assembly and overhaul of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and manifolds
n
- Fault-finding, testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
n
- Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and drawings
n
- Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and WHS standards
n
- Working closely with electrical and mechanical trades
n

About You

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Fitter / Hydraulics Fitter or similar
n
- Experience in hydraulics within mining,



heavy industrial or mobile plant environments
n
- Longwall or underground coal experience (highly regarded, not essential)
n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Safety-focused with robust attention to detail
n
