As an Account Manager at Myfreight, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and growing our valued customer relationships. You will provide support to the national sales department by effectively and proactively managing and being directly responsible for the success your account/s.

This full-time position based across our head office in Ringwood offers the opportunity to work closely with our clients, understand their unique needs, and provide tailored freight solutions that drive their business success.

Key responsibilities

n

Proactively manage and nurture a portfolio of key client accounts

n

Develop trust and strong relationships with clients through regular communication on and off site

n

Daily reporting of key performance metrics

n

Provide escalation as well as proactive attention to customer service enquiries

n

Management of carrier performance in line with SLA metrics

n





Identify or develop opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our range of freight services

n

Management and lodging of Dangerous Goods/Compliance issues in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements

n

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery

n

Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reporting on account activity

n

Maintain multi-level relationship maps and a structured contact cadence for each account

n

Provide account analytics, reporting, and customer training on Myfreight systems and features

n

What we're looking for

n

Minimum 3 years' experience in an Account Management role

n

Solid experience within the logistics or freight industry, 4PL experience is highly valued but not mandatory

n

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

n

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels

n

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address client needs

n

Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools

n

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
