Key responsibilities

Setting up the restaurant and breakfast area before service

n

Welcoming and seating guests

n

Making coffee and other beverages

n

Taking coffee and breakfast orders

n

Serving food, coffee and beverages

n

Clearing and resetting tables

n

Monitoring and maintaining the restaurant and lounge area

n

Ensuring the restaurant remains clean and presentable throughout service

n

Assisting with cleaning and pack-down after breakfast

n

Processing guest payments where required

n

Communicating with the kitchen and hotel reception team

n

About you

n

Is reliable and punctual

n

Is comfortable with early morning starts

n

Has a friendly and professional approach to guests

n

Can work efficiently during busy breakfast periods

n

Has good communication and teamwork skills

n

Takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised

n





Can work independently when required

n

Has previous café, restaurant, hotel or hospitality experience – preferred but not essential

n

Holds a current ACT RSA & Food Handling Certificate, or is willing to obtain one if required
