At Service Stream , we're looking for an experienced Field Operations Supervisor to lead operational crews delivering maintenance, reactive works, and projects across the SA Water network. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll spend time both in the field and supporting your teams to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes every day.

About the Role n

Based from our Hope Valley depot , you'll oversee the day-to-day delivery of maintenance and operational activities across SA Water assets while ensuring exceptional standards in safety, customer service and field performance.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Leading frontline operational teams and contractors
n
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance programs
n
- Monitoring work schedules, labour utilisation and backlog performance
n




- Ensuring accurate works management system reporting and data integrity
n
- Coordinating projects and minor works activities
n
- Conducting regular field audits and maintaining a solid site presence
n
- Managing budgets and identifying productivity improvementsli
n
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team capability
n
- Supporting a rostered supervisory on-call function
n

About You n

You'll be a practical leader who enjoys being in the field, building strong relationships and helping teams succeed.

n

Ideally, you'll bring:

n

n
- Experience supervising field-based operational or maintenance crews
n
- A strong safety-first mindset and demonstrated leadership in safe work practices
n
- Experience within water, utilities, civil, construction, infrastructure or related industries
n
- Strong planning, scheduling and workforce coordination skills
n
- The ability to interpret civil and/or mechanical drawings and scopes of work
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach to leadership
n
- Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills
n

What You'll Need nn
- Current Driver's Licence
n
- White Card
n
- Certificate IV in Civil Supervision (or equivalent experience) is highly regarded
n
