Your role At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges. You'll be a part of our Business Operations team based in Brisbane. As a Facilities Manager, you'll lead the delivery of a premium workplace experience, that support exceptional service to our clients, visitors and people, balancing operational excellence, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.
As a Facilities Manager in our Business Operations team you will:
- Manage the maintenance of the tenancy and equipment by conducting preventative maintenance inspections and attend to and/or report faults so as to provide a safe working environment
- Take ownership of workplace safety, operational risk and business continuity through proactive management of WH&S;, emergency procedures, building security systems and the car park
- Lead complex workplace projects including relocations and refurbishments ensuring excellent stakeholder outcomes, operational continuity and an exceptional workplace experience.
- Provide day to day leadership to the Facilities and Guest Relations team, building capability, driving high service standard and ensuring the delivery of a seamless workplace and reception experience for clients, visitors and employees.
- Build strong networks with internal stakeholders and external service providers so as to maintain a high level of service
This is a permanent, full-time prospect.
About you
You will bring a proactive, solutions focused approach exercising sound judgement, taking ownership and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You will have:
- A client service mindset and professional approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, various stakeholders and vendors;
- An ability to leverage systems and data to improve operational efficiency and service delivery;
- An ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build trusted relationships with stakeholders,
vendors and service providers
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Resilience and enthusiasm, with a strong sense of pride in your work;
- Strong knowledge of WH&S; principles;
- Previous experience working in a Facilities Management team within a corporate or professional services environment is high desirable
- A growth mindset, including a willingness to learn, seek feedback, share knowledge and support the development of the team.
