HR Excellence Partners is a growing boutique HR consultancy providing fractional HR support and project based services to Australian SMEs.

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are looking to establish an ongoing relationship with an experienced HR Consultant who can deliver excellent client work and help us develop new client relationships.

This is not a full time or part time employment position. It is a flexible independent consulting prospect that may complement your existing consultancy, other professional work or personal commitments.

The opportunity extends beyond completing assigned work. You will also have the ability to help grow the client portfolio and benefit financially from the new business you help create.

The opportunity

Our fractional HR service gives SME owners access to experienced HR capability without the cost of employing an internal HR Manager.

Depending on the assignment, you may become the trusted HR contact for an ongoing fractional client, deliver a defined HR project or assist with a specific employee relations matter.

Some work will be completed independently behind the scenes. Other assignments will involve working directly with business owners and managers as a representative of HR Excellence Partners.

Assignments may include:

- Providing fractional HR support to SME owners and managers
- Managing performance, conduct, grievances and other employee relations matters
- Drafting contracts, policies,



position descriptions and workplace correspondence
- Advising on Modern Awards, the National Employment Standards and Fair Work obligations
- Supporting recruitment, workforce planning and organisational change
- Improving HR systems, processes and employee lifecycle practices

You will be trusted to understand each client’s business, identify what needs to be done and confidently take the work from initial brief through to completion.

You will also be encouraged to introduce HR Excellence Partners to potential clients, develop opportunities through your professional network and identify additional ways we can support existing clients.

This is relationship focused business development. We are looking for someone who can build trust, recognise a genuine business need and confidently explain how our services can help..

About you

You are an experienced, hands on HR generalist who can think strategically while remaining highly capable in delivery.

You build trust quickly, communicate clearly and exercise sound judgement when managing sensitive workplace matters.

You will bring:

- Broad HR generalist and employee relations experience
- Strong knowledge of Australian workplace relations and Modern Awards
- Experience advising business owners and senior leaders
- The ability to work independently and manage competing client priorities
- Strong written, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence building professional relationships and identifying new client opportunities
- A responsive, dependable and client focused approach
