3rd/4th year Apprentice/Qualified Maintenance Plumber – Leadership Pathway

The position involves a varied workload across residential, commercial and property maintenance plumbing throughout Melbourne. This role would suit someone who already has good practical plumbing experience and is looking to further develop their skills across a broad range of maintenance and project work.

Key responsibilities

n

- General plumbing maintenance and repairs
n
- Blocked drains and sewer clearing
n
- Drain camera/CCTV inspections
n
- Water and drainage leak investigations
n
- Leak detection and fault finding
n
- Hot water system servicing, repairs and replacements
n
- Tapware, toilets, showers and fixture repairs/replacements
n
- Water supply repairs and alterations
n
- Gas plumbing where appropriately qualified/supervised
n
- Commercial plumbing and fit-outs
n

About you

n

n
- Currently undertaking a 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprenticeship, or be a Qualified Plumber
n
- Experienced enough to confidently undertake general plumbing work appropriate to their level
n




- Hold a current Victorian driver's licence
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Well presented and professional with customers
n
- Comfortable communicating with tenants, homeowners, property managers and builders
n
- Able to troubleshoot plumbing problems rather than simply replace parts
n
- Willing to learn and develop additional skills
n
- Capable of working independently when appropriate
n
- Able to maintain valuable-quality workmanship and leave jobs clean and presentable
