Smith & Co is proud to represent another Brisbane-based provider of world-class commercial and industrial solar PV systems. With a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking for an experienced Solar Electrician to lead on-site solar installations and drive safe, high-quality outcomes across our commercial portfolio.

This is a hands-on role suited to an electrician who enjoys running jobs, mentoring teams, and delivering projects right the first time.

Key responsibilities include





- Leading commercial solar installations from site start through to commissioning
- Ensuring all works comply with Australian Standards, Queensland regulations and company processes
- Coordinating with Project Managers, Engineering and Operations teams
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients and site stakeholders
- Ensuring productivity targets and weekly project plans are met
- Completing QA checks, audits and project documentation

About You

You are a confident site leader with strong electrical fundamentals and proven commercial solar experience.

- Current Electrical Licence (QLD)
- White Card
- SAA Accreditation
- Demonstrated experience in commercial solar installations
- Strong safety focus and ability to lead by example
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Highly regarded

- Battery accreditation
- Experience leading install teams on large or complex projects
