About the Role

n

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electronic Security professional to join a specialist technical team in an office-based programming and commissioning role.

n

You'll remotely program, configure, commission and troubleshoot electronic security systems, with a focus on access control, CCTV/VMS, networking and integrations.

n

The role suits an experienced Commissioning Technician, Security Systems Engineer or Senior Security Technician looking to move away from installation work and focus on the technical side of electronic security.

- $100k - $120k + Super (negotiable on experience)
n
- Predominantly office-based role
n
- Minimal requirement for traditional installation work
n
- Work across complex commercial and enterprise security systems
n
- Strong technical focus across programming, integrations and networking
n
- Opportunity to further develop advanced systems engineering expertise

Duties

n

n
- Remote programming and commissioning of electronic security systems
n
- Configure access control, CCTV/VMS and integrated security solutions
n
- Troubleshoot system, software, network and integration issues
n




- Complete system testing, configuration changes and upgrades
n
- Integrate security platforms with third-party systems
n
- Provide technical support to technicians and project teams
n
- Assist with commissioning documentation and system handover
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Strong electronic security programming and commissioning experience
n
- Experience with Integriti, Gallagher, Genetec and/or Milestone highly regarded
n
- Robust access control and CCTV/VMS knowledge
n
- Good understanding of IP networking, servers and system integrations
n
- Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot security systems
n
- Experience across commercial, government or enterprise projects advantageous
n
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
n
