Summit Tower Hire is a privately owned and operated Travel Tower MEWP company, providing services and solutions to major providers within Australia.
n We specialise in the Bronto and Ruthmann Travel Towers with a range of 30M-70M in Height.

n

We are currently recruitingTravel Tower / EWP Operatorsto join ourVictorian based teams.

n

Reporting to the Operations Manager,you will be working alongside specialised height workers on major projects across Australia including industry but not limited to:

- High-voltage Transmission lines
n
- Telecommunications
n

n

Duties will include:

n

n
- Operation of EWP to high standards in accordance with high-risk work licensing and the Summit Tower Hire requirements.
n
- Driving of Truck to project sites and carrying out daily maintenance checks on the truck
n
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and meets specification
n
- Undertake travel tower operations in accordance with all work health, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with high-risk work licensing and the Summit Tower Hire requirements.
n
- Follow directions of the Operations Manager and work in accordance with issued safety documents including SWMS, JSAs and other site-specific documents.
n
- Report all hazards to site Operations Manager or person responsible for managing worksite and provide input to risk assessments, hazard identification and implementation of hazard controls.
n
- Undertake manual labour tasks which may include, loading and unloading of equipment, tower climbing, using hand tools.
n




- Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all Summit Tower Hire assets including fleet vehicles, plant equipment, tools, electrical and rigging equipment.
n
- Attend and provides input into daily worksite prestart meetings and monthly toolbox meetings as required.
n
- Operate company vehicles, plant and equipment as required.
n
- Report for work fit for duty and free from the influence of alcohol and other drugs at all times and undergoes random, scheduled or suspicion drug & alcohol testing as required in accordance with policies and procedures.
n
- Maintain currency of training and competency requirements including High Risk Work Licences, heights and rescue training, internal and external inductions.
n
- Familiarizes themselves with and adheres to company policies, plans and procedures.
n

To be considered for this role you need:

n

n
- Experience with travel towers
n
- You must be available to travel and work away from home when required.
n
- Minimum of 1 year operating an Elevated Work Platform with truck mounted EWP experience.
n
- Minimum of 1 year working within the construction industry.
n
