GENERAL MANAGER | WARRNAMBOOL VICTORIA

Salary: $120,000 – $125,000 + Super | Furnished 2-Bedroom Residence + Utilities | Incentive Bonus

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead an established accommodation and food & beverage operation in Warrnambool Victoria. Located on the South West Coast, Warrnambool is renowned for its beautiful beaches, winter whale watching, coastal river walks and spectacular scenery. The area has a strong growing economy supported by tourism, healthcare, shopping, cafes, restaurants, arts and cultural attractions.

This is a highly visible, hands‐on leadership role suited to a commercially astute hotelier who enjoys being involved in the day‐to‐day operation, engaging with guests, developing people and driving strong operational and financial performance.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced hotelier who:

n

Has strong senior hotel management experience across Rooms and F&B;

n

Brings proven commercial and operational capability

n

Has a sound understanding of revenue management and financial performance

n

Has experience leading established teams through change or transition

n

Is an emotionally intelligent and people‐focused leader

n

Is confident representing the hotel within the local community

n

Thrives in a visible, hands‐on management environment

n

Has previous branded or franchised hotel experience — highly regarded

n

Takes genuine pride in guest experience and service delivery

n

Can balance commercial objectives with strong people leadership

n

This is not a desk‐based GM role. The successful candidate will be highly visible within the operation, working closely with the team, guests and wider community.
