About the Role

n

With a strong pipeline of current and upcoming projects, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join our Victorian Projects team and work closely with our Senior Projects Manager across projects statewide.

n

This is a great opportunity for a junior engineer looking to build their career within the civil and infrastructure industry and gain exposure to the commercial, operational and administrative side of major project delivery.

n

Working directly with the Senior Projects Manager, you will provide day-to-day project support across Lantrak's Victorian operations. You'll assist with everything from proposals and client correspondence through to reporting, project data, financial tracking and general project administration.

n

You'll be involved across multiple projects and work closely with our internal operations teams, clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Senior Projects Manager across projects throughout Victoria
n
- Assist with the preparation and submission of proposals and project documentation
n
- Coordinate proposal information, pricing inputs and supporting documentation
n
- Follow up clients regarding tenders, project requirements,



outstanding information and actions
n
- Liaise with clients and project stakeholders throughout project delivery
n
- Assist with project mobilisation, setup and ongoing administration
n
- Maintain accurate project data, records, registers and documentation
n
- Collate operational and commercial data for project reporting
n
- Prepare and assist with weekly and monthly project reports
n
- Assist with monthly P&L; reporting, cost tracking and project performance reviews
n
- Track project progress, variations, quantities and other key commercial information
n
- Assist with client meetings, including preparation of information and follow-up of actions
n
- Work with internal operational teams to ensure project requirements and commitments are communicated and followed through
n
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Projects team
n
- Help identify outstanding actions, issues and opportunities requiring follow-up
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone at the beginning of their project engineering career who is organised, commercially minded and keen to learn.

n

You may be a recent graduate or already have some experience within civil construction, infrastructure, engineering or project coordination.

n





Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- A qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
n
- Graduate to approximately 2-3 years' industry experience
n
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
n
- Confidence working with numbers, spreadsheets and project data
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- The ability to communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
n
- Good Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
n
- An understanding of project costs, budgets or P&L; reporting would be advantageous
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks and follow-ups
n
- A genuine interest in major civil and infrastructure projects
n
