Rapid Crushing & Screening Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. This is an opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to play an key role in the fabrication, repairs & maintenance of our fleet of modern plant and equipment.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Carrying out high-quality boilermaking and fabrication work on crushing equipment and associated machinery
n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications & job requirements to ensure accurate and efficient completion of work
n
- Using a variety of welding equipment, power tools & hand tools to produce quality workmanship
n
- Working closely with the area manager to achieve production schedules and project deadlines
n
- Maintaining high standards of quality control while following all workplace health and safety requirements
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Relevant boilermaking qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/ welding)
n
- 5 years post-trade experience working as a Boilermaker, preferably within the mining or heavy industry
n
- Strong welding capabilities, with the ability to weld in multiple positions and utilise various welding processes
n
- Demonstrated experience with MIG and TIG welding is essential
n




- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work
n
- Good mechanical problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team
n
- Australian work rights are essential for this position
n
- A current and valid drivers licence
n
- HRWL (LF) and others are desirable
n
