We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team, supporting our Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality resident care along with medication administration. You will work alongside long-term staff who are genuinely devoted to our Residents wellbeing, in a friendly and supportive workplace.
Key responsibilities
Support Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality resident care
Assist with medication administration under Registered Nurse supervision
About you
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, or AIN/EN qualification, or relevant PCW experience
Willingness and ability to work as a medicator, under Registered Nurse supervision
Working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
Understanding of Infection Prevention and Control procedures
Understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
Current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise residents' care needs
A cooperative team player
Reliable, versatile and proactive
Kind and caring, with genuine respect for residents privacy and dignity
