Really Awesome People is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of security initiatives for a major electricity networks setting in Perth. This is a hands-on delivery role for a Project Manager who can bring structure, commercial discipline and explicit stakeholder leadership to complex cyber work.

The opportunity

You will lead cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring outcomes meet agreed security, compliance, cost, schedule, quality and scope expectations. The portfolio may include security uplift programs, risk mitigation, governance and compliance initiatives, cloud security, identity and access management, vulnerability remediation and security technology deployments.

What you will do

· Deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule and cost without compromising safety or quality.

· Apply the client’s project methodology, governance framework, standards and delivery controls.

· Manage Capex and Opex forecasts,



project reporting, resource plans and schedules.

· Identify and actively manage assumptions, risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions.

· Complete project assurance activities, gate reviews and required documentation.

· Build effective relationships across cybersecurity, technology, business and vendor teams.

· Provide clear, proactive reporting to senior stakeholders and delivery leaders.

What you will bring

· A proven record delivering complex technology or cybersecurity projects and programs.

· Strong experience in energy and utilities, an asset-intensive organisation or another regulated environment.

· Experience delivering through Agile and hybrid methods.

· Solid commercial, financial, risk and delivery governance capability.

· Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.

· Experience with data, digital or platform transformations will be well regarded.
